The articles, published in various international media between 2019 and 2021, analyze the economic, social and political transformations that China has undergone in the last four decades and that have led it to position itself as the second largest economy in the world.

Additionally, some of the dimensions that position the “Asian giant” as a new global leader are presented, the achievements of diplomacy between Argentina and China in recent decades are explored, and some of the challenges for the integration of Latin America are considered. State, Politics and Democracy in Latin America (2022)

This book brings together the main contributions of the international course State, politics and democracy in Latin America, an unprecedented training initiative that brought together some of the most prominent progressive political personalities in Latin America and Europe.

The international course was promoted by the School of Latin American and Global Studies, ELAG, the Puebla Group, the Latin American Observatory of the New School University and the State University of Rio de Janeiro, with the support of Página 12.
